Chess Club

The Chess Club is open to all students in grades 6 - 8 that demonstrate positive behavior and an aptitude for learning chess. 

Initially, students will practice online on www.chesskids.com. 

In  January, the club begins meeting face to face after school.  During these meetings, students prepare for competitions with other middle schools in Onslow County. The culminating face-to-face conference competition takes place during the last few weeks of the school year.

*Practices and matches run  until 4:00 pm.
